Our Candidate Charter

Spring Technology is recognised as the UK’s largest provider of technology and IT professionals. Over the last 25 years Spring Technology has been a trusted advisor and career manager to hundreds of thousands of IT contract and permanent candidates. As part of Spring Technology’s commitment to our candidates we have formulated a charter that clearly outlines the standards you can expect from Spring Technology and how you as a candidate can maximise the relationship:

Communication:

  • A lack of feedback on a role is common criticism levied at recruitment agencies. Spring will provide accurate and constructive feedback throughout the whole recruitment process.
  • As a contractor of Spring Technology you will be spoken to by your dedicated Consultant every month and met within the first six weeks of an assignment.
  • At the start of your assignment you will be given the main points of contact needed within Spring Technology.
  • The invoice and timesheet procedure will be clearly explained and documented at the start of any new position and you will be talked through your contract.

Payment:

  • Spring Technology will pay you accurately and on time every month.
  • Payroll queries will be responded to within 24 hours and issues will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

Professionalism:

  • You can expect to be treated with respect, integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Your permission will be requested before we submit your details to any potential employers.
  • You can expect full role descriptions when being submitted for a position.

Candidate focused:

  • Spring Technology will strive to secure you a new position and keep you up to date on new suitable roles.
  • You will be treated as an individual and Spring Technology will work with you to manage your career.
  • We will work proactively to find you suitable roles and to market you only to the most relevant organisations.
  • Spring will open up dialogue regarding your contract extension 4 to 6 weeks before the end of an assignment, to either extend the current assignment or look at other opportunities should the role not be continuing.
  • You will be regularly updated with Market Information and appropriate training programmes.

How you can help:

  • Keep in touch with Spring Technology regarding your current position, skills, accreditations, and contact details.
